If speed of printing is a top requirement for you, then black and white laser printers can be the best option by far. Some models on the market have the ability to print around 200 pages in one minute. With this capability, printing out large documents or multiple pages becomes much less time consuming. Even printing at these speeds the print quality of most black and white laser printers is still excellent.

A mid-size or small laser printer is the most common type of monochrome model. These are designed for desktop installation and do not take up a lot of room. However to cut down on the space required, all-in-one printers are an option and these include other functions as well as printing.
